What are Cowboy Camping products made out of?

Cowboy Camping products are made of a material called HDPE flashspun fabric. The fabric is made from high-density polyethylene fibers and can be created in a variety of different patterns/weaves/composites.

What are the types of HDPE flashspun fabric you use and what are the differences between them?

Cowboy Camping products feature three different weave/composition patterns of HDPE flashspun fabric, signified as numbers: 1060D, S40, H08.

1060D is used in our groundsheets and sit pads for it's durability, water resistance, and rigidity.

S40 has a softer feel and is more fabric-like, making it easier to sew. We use this type of HDPE flashpun fabric for our stuff sacks, zip cubes, pot sacks, and wallets.

H08 composite is softer and more durable with an added microfiber lining for additional protection. We use this variety in our e-reader case.
